My name is Rhonda and I am retired, as is my husband Ted. We enjoy living in the Pacific Northwest with the gorgeous environment and yes, even the rain. I am caregiver to my mother who lives with us, so I will be posting about dementia, research, and other information I find helpful. I love to write, so this will be such a great avenue for me to share the humor, concern, and sometimes heartache I embrace on a daily basis.
I will be blogging about the things that interest me the most and help keep me sane: Crafting, quilting, gardening, antique and thrift store shopping, decorating and upcycling found treasures. From time to time, I will include posts on healthy eating. A year ago, after being very sick, I found out I was allergic to wheat and rye, gluten, all dairy, eggs, peanuts, almonds, filberts, and the list goes on… It has been a major challenge to change my eating habits, but I am determined to eat organic, clean, and green. I’ve already won because I feel great. Now I love revising and creating recipes to accommodate my restrictive diet. Can’t wait to tell you all about it in my blog. Welcome and come again.
